Bausch and Lomb developed the first custom wavefront platform used worldwide and has continued it’s history of excellence in LASIK technology with the ZYOPTIX 100 laser. ZYOPTIX is a wavefront technology that treats not only nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism, but can also correct the more subtle irregularities (called higher order aberrations) that are unique to each individual. In those individuals with high degrees of corneal irregularity, wavefront treatment can improve night vision, contrast sensitivity, and overall quality of vision.
